Heritage Trail Test & Presentation and other admin stuff

Dear cadets, the following people below have not passed/have
not done their heritage trail.

Below are the cadets who need to take the 15 mins theory
heritage test as they either missed it or failed:

Below are the cadets who need to make a 1.5 to 2min max
presentation on the site they visited:

The test, as well as the presentation, will be carried out on
Wednesday. Please refer to the document that is uploaded
under the basic life saving handbook folder to look at the
Heritage Trail CPBS requirements. Do prepare yourself well
for your test/presentation on Wednesday.

Based on the data given by Mrs Kumar, Luqmann and Adam Wee have not submitted their cookery portfolio. Do remember to hand up your portfolios on Wednesday.

Cadets who have not handed up your edusave forms or permission slips for the shooting course, please bring them on Wednesday too. Those who need to pay by cash do bring the correct amount of money.

Sec 3s, it maybe doing your one man prac so please prepare yourselves in whatever way you want. As for the sec 2s, you will be doing your com training but once we have finished evaluating your promo tests you might need to re take. If all of you have studied and prepared for everything before, you would have no need for preparations already.

If you are using Firefox

1.       Go to the ASJAB website.

2.       Click on the “bookmark” button.

3.       Move your mouse over “Subscribe to this page”

4.       Click on “Subscribe to ‘ASJAB :D; -RSS’

5.       Select where you want to put the bookmark then click on “subscribe”

 

6.       You will then see the live bookmark.

Cross Country 2012

Dear cadets, please take note of the following details for the upcoming cross country duty: 


Date: Friday, 20 January 2012 
Reporting time: 0720 
Venue: First aid tent in MacRitchie Resevoir Park 
Attire: PT Kit
Things to bring: 1.5l Ice Mountain water bottle for every cadet
Directions: "Buses 52, 74, 93, 130, 132, 156, 157, 162, 165, 166, 167, 852, 855 and 980. Alight along Lornie Road at the bus-stop in front of MacRitchie Reservoir Park. If you are going from Orchard Road, take bus 132 or 167. If you are coming from Ang Mo Kio MRT Station, take bus 130, 166 and stop at Mount Alvernia Hospital, you will need to cross the road to get to the park." or "Marymount MRT Station (Circle line) is located 2km away from MacRitchie Reservoir Park."


It is compulsory for all cadets to take part in this duty. Please read up on your first aid (such as sprains, fractures, asthma, insect sting, animal bite, etc).

Dear cadets,

Here are the details for monday's (16/01/12):

Note: You will be taking your promotion tests. Please be prepared. Everyone is to pass your valuables to the I/C. I/C please put in plastic bag and pass to us. This should be very familiar to you already, yet there's still cadets not giving their valuables to I/C. From Monday onwards, this must be done. Thanks.

Heritage Trial & KOTO test & CPBS Badges detail

Dear cadets, 

There will be a few things that you all will have to take note of.
Firstly, the heritage trail. Those who did not go for the heritage trail during the camp will have to do your presentation in school. You will have to talk for two minutes. For those who did not take the heritage trail mcq test, the test will be held after Chinese new year. All of you will have to hand up your project after Chinese new year.

Secondly, the knowledge of the order test(koto) will be either on week 8 or 9. It would be an online test. We will tell you more details before you all take the test. Do study for it.

Thirdly, for the cpbs badges that we have applied for all of you, you all will receive it soon. Each badge costs $1.50. However, the school has paid for the first batch of badges so all of you will only need to pay for your badges for the second batch onwards. So you all will not have to pay for the badges this time round.

Lastly, for the shooting program, please remember not to use liquid paper if you need to correct your information on the edusave form.

CCA Open House details

below are the details for this Saturday's (14/01/12) CCA Open House.

Reporting time: 8:00am
Attire: -Full Brigade with CPBS badges
-Home clothes + bring Full brigade (Only those who are acting as Casualties)

Note: It is compulsory for EVERYONE to attend the CCA Open House. The open house will end around 12pm+ or 1pm+. Please inform your parents about it. Please take note that only those who are acting as casualties for the TOC performance is allowed to wear home clothes. After the performance, everyone will change into full brigade. Please be seated outside the ASJAB room at 8:00am wearing your full brigade/ home clothes (casualties)
