Change in FA Comp Meeting Time Sunday 24 Mar

Dear cadets,

There is a sudden last minute in start time of FA this year. Please take note of the changes:

Details from FA Comp Committee as of today 2pm:

Helpers

• Ready at 8.30am in SJAB HQ hall in PT Kit (PE T shirt and track pants)
• Please bring Full Brigade (if you have), slippers, old T shirt (it might be permanently stained). 

Competitors

• Report at 8.45am LT1 in full brigade.
• Bring missing items from first aid kit and stationary (not including paper/book)

Due to the later start time, we have pushed back the meet-up time in Anderson Secondary for the school bus to the following details so that you have more rest:

Meeting Venue: Anderson Secondary SJAB room area

Time: 7.55am

Attire: Full Brigade for competitors, PT Kit for helpers.

Please note the school bus will leave Anderson Sec at 8am sharp. Thus you need to be ready in full brigade by 7.55am. Please do not be late. The school gate will only open at 7.30am so don't come too early too. 

Please help to inform each other of the changes and things to bring. Dismissal will be in SJAB HQ at around 6pm.

Please also check out the FA Com facebook page "FACom where effort meets excellence n knowledge meets adaptability" regularly for updates. Cause there might be important last minute postings that can help us do well in comp.

KOTO Test Results

Dear Sec 2s and 3s who took the KOTO test last week,

Only 6 cadets pass the test. They are:

1. Issac: 76/100 (Top scorer)
2. Joven: 74/100
3. David: 68/100
4. Jie Xi: 56/100
5. Nathan: 54/100
6. Ren Yong: 50/100

For cadets who did not pass the test, there is a retest for you in late May after SA2. Please study for it. There is only max 3 to 4 tries a year. KOTO is a compulsory badge for both Commissioner and Chief Commissioner Badge (6 CCA Points).

Reminder: Sec 1 SANA Course Thu 21 Mar

Dear Sec 1s,

Please remember to attend the SANA Course this Thursday 21 March. 

For the 11 cadets who are taking the one way school bus, please meet at Anderson Sec school porch area at 7.45am. 

For the 2 cadets who have indicated you are not taking the bus, please meet in SANA HQ in Sengkang CC at 8.45am. 

Please bring money for lunch as it is not provided. The course will end at 5pm. You will be dismissed in Sengkang CC.

pls take note that there is a change in meeting place. initially, it was at HQ at 0745am, but now it has been changed to at Anderson Secondary at 0700am. there will be a chartered bus taking you to HQ.

Confirmed Changed Dates for Comp Training

Dear Sec 2 and Sec 3 comp team competitors,

As explained in the earlier message, the confirmed dates and venues for the comp training is as follows:

1. Sunday 17 March: 8.30am to 3.30pm. Venue: Anderson Sec. I will be around.
2. Monday 18 March: 9am to 4.30pm. Venue: Anderson School. Mr Chen will be on duty.
3. Thursday 21 March: 9am to 4.30pm. Venue:Anderson School. Mrs Kumar will be on duty.

Tuesday 19 March training is cancelled as the Sunday training replaces it. I will keep you posted this weekend on whether I can get a bus next Sun for comp.

More details will be posted by NCOs later this week.

Change in Comp Training Dates (Replace Tue 19 Mar with Sun 17 Mar)

Dear Sec 2 and 3 Comp team competitors,

We manage to get a group of ex-Andersonians, former National FA Comp competitors to come back to train all of you. Led by ex-CSM Shing Yi (2009-2010) and ex-DCSM Azizan (2007-2008), they are trying to gather as many ex-Andersonians as possible to come back. It is a last minute decision as we are will like to value add to your performance faster. However, as most of them are in army or working, weekends is the only possible day. As a result, we have decided to change the comp training dates to the following:

1. Sunday 17 March (Either 8.30am to 3.30pm in school or 9am to 4pm in HQ): The exact time and venue will be confirm tomorrow. 
2. Monday 18 March 9am to 4.30pm in school
3. Thursday 21 March 9am to 4.30pm in school

Training on 19 March will be cancelled to give you time to consolidate your learning and catch up with your holidays. Cause we also want to make sure we have quality rather than quantity trainings. You can use the non comp days to read up on areas you are weak in. You cannot be repeating the same mistakes training after training. 20 March wed might be FA kit checking day. More details will come soon.

Thank you very much for your sacrifice. Weekends are very precious to everyone so your attendance is deeply valued. Our CAA Gold is dependent on your performance next Sunday. We need for of you to get at least 3rd on Sunday. Hope you can improve faster and rise up to the occasion.

This training is only sec 3 and sec 2 competition team members. Pls take note of the time changes. For sec 3 pls attend Cca asap once u r done with ur ic registration by 4pm latest, Pls come as a group to avoid confusion. Sec 2 pls attend cca once u r done with ur koto.
