Final Theory Retest: change in date

Dear Cadets, 

There has been a change in date for the final first aid theory test. The final session of FA theory test and other components (one man prac and footdrill) will be carried out on Wednesday, instead of Friday. This is because of the Chingay rehearsal on Friday.

Celebration for our new cadets

Dear cadets, for your information, the sec ones will be joining us for CCA from next GM (29/1/14) onwards. Hence, we will have a celebration next Wednesday to welcome them. With that, please purchase and bring along soft drinks (1.5l bottled) and snacks to share with the sec ones for that GM. The I/C for this is Ong Yun. I/C, it is up to you to decide how many to purchase and how would you like to split up the purchase of items between the sec threes and twos.

CPR-AED course cancelled

Dear cadets,

I am sorry to inform you that te CPR-AED course that was supposed to be on this Saturday has been cancelled. The next course will be around February/April, I will tell you all more on Wednesday. So please try to keep that day free so more of you can go! 

As for BCLS, we have not been informed of any cancellation yet so as of now it is still on.

Promotion test (First Aid Theory)

Dear cadets, here are the details for Friday GM.
Reporting time: 2.15pm

For the sec threes involved in the foot drill performance, report for CCA at 1.30pm instead.

CCA Open House is coming soon (11 Jan). By now, you should be familiar with whatever you have learnt for the performance. Make sure to brush up on what you are not good at eg bandaging. If you are still unsure of anything about the performance, do ask your platoon mates. Also, please be prepared for promo retest at any point in time.

CCA Open House attire

Hello all,

This Saturday is CCA open house and all of you will be required to wear full brigade with CPBS badges. (Regardless of whether you are a casualty for the display or not—you will have to change afterwards. We will tell you more next GM.) So as a gentle reminder please make sure your uniform is up to standard. 

1) Check how to pin CPBS badges properly. Pin them and your name tag on before wearing to avoid forgetting them. 

2) Remember to bring accessories like gloves, belt, socks and beret. 

3) Season beret well and make sure there are no white fibres.

4) Hair net and bun net for ALL nursings. 

5) Ambulance try to get your hair cut short if it's too long. No long sideburns. 

6) Unifrom must be clean and nicely ironed. 

7) Polish boots. 

I do not wish to see anyone forgetting any items on Saturday.

Promotion Test Results

Dear cadets, below are the results for the promotion tests taken during November camp. As I've already said on Friday, everyone has to retake the first aid theory test since almost all failed and the only pass is borderline. Other than that, you only retake the component(s) that you failed. The blanks in the table show that you were absent for that test, thus you still need to take it.

Do study hard for the retest, because the retest can be held any time in the next few weeks. A second failure may result in consequences.
