Confirmation for Zone FA Com 2018 (17 Mar) and BFA/AFA Exam for Competitors (3 Mar)

Dear cadets,

The Zone FA Com dates are confirmed. It will be:

Date: 17 March 2018 (Sat)
Time: 8am to 7pm (One way school bus will be provided from school at 7am)
Venue: Ngee Ann Polytechnic School of Health Sciences (535 Clementi Road, S (599489)
Reporting attire:
Competitors: Full Brigade Uniform (w/o CPBS badges), rank and nametag, Helpers to bring their brigade half uniform

Team numbers will be given on the competition day. Zone 3 teams will be assigned alphabets (e.g. NCA, NCB, NCC), and zone 4 teams will be assigned numbers (e.g. NC1, NC2, NC3).

In addition, there is a BFA/ AFA Exam for competitors who does not have a valid first aid certificate.

Food by Foot Ang Mo Kio Heritage Event 3 March 2018

Dear cadets,

Anchorvale CC is organizing a heritage event known as Food by Foot on March 3, 2018 (Sat) 8.30am to 1.30pm. 

It is a heritage event to know more about the food stalls in Ang Mo Kio. I believe you will have a chance to try many types of food.  

The event aims to promote bonding in the community and your school is one of our outreach avenue to bring neighbourliness and kampong spirit into Ang Mo Kio GRC and Sengkang West SMC and it will be graced by Dr Lam Pin Min, Senior Minister of State for Health & Transport and Grassroots Adviser to Sengkang West GROs.

To take part in this event, you will form teams of 4. If there are any one of you interested, please let the NCOs know tomorrow 3pm during GM. It is a good opportunity to build friendship among your platoon.

Be A NCO Day 23 Feb (Fri) & 2 Mar (Fri) 18

Dear cadets,

Be a NCO Day is a  twice a term event for Sec 3s in term 1 where they can take on the roles of positions you wish to learn more about.

The objective of this exercise is to allow Sec 3s to gain first hand experience how the CCA is run and also to develop skills needed for NCOship in April. 

Every Sec 3 is given 2 choices based solely on their area of interests. NCOs will offer advice and guidance. These opportunities are purely developmental and is not be used for appraisal.
