Throughout Anderson St John Brigade’s history, training camps have always been carried out twice a year. The school camps aim to promote independence, bonding and efficiency, cultivating the “One for all, All for one” spirit within our corps. At the end of the camp, you will develop new leadership qualities, communication skills and initiative.
Unlike previous years there is a new concept this year, in view of the NCOC camp the week before that involves all levels.
We will be holding a day camp on 7 June 2018 (Thursday) 8.30am to 4.30pm that serves to engage and enrich the cadets in many ways. The highlights of the camp are:
· First Aid proficiency reinforcement through mass evacuation drills, and first aid lessons.
· Survival, confidence and leadership skills through field cooking, campfire and duties in the camp.
· Competition team review and trial
The consent form will be given after SA1 as we want everyone to focus on exams during this period. Please alert your parents first on this activity.
For sec 1s and selected sec 2s, there will be some CPBS HQ courses on 6 June and 8 June. We will take a protection time break after 8 June (unless you have volunteered for NDP).
Thank you
Regards
Mr Yong
