Dear cadets,
Here is a brief outline of what you will be doing for World Water Day GM next Monday 27 Feb. That day is also a Be a NCO Day where Sec 3s will get to experiment different roles:
1. You will be a water conservation ambassador. The activity will be from 3pm to 4.30pm (if there is no rain). Mr Hazmi will conduct the briefing from 3pm to 3.30pm. You will group into 5 teams to visit 5 blocks opposite the school. The blocks are 506, 507, 508, 509 and 511. At each block, each team will then be subdivided into groups of 2-3.
2. You will carry a brochure to knock every door in that block to share about saving water habits, how to read water bill and complete a survey form with their address. This address is for PUB to track their water consumption over 2 months. We are targeting 400 households in AMK. To help us reach the targets, we are also enlisting the help of Green Club, and cadets who stay in AMK.
3. We target to end the project before 4.30pm. After 4.30pm, the Sec 3s can try out different roles as NCOs in Be a NCO Day. In the event of poor weather conditions, it will be Be a NCO Day followed by World Water Day.
This project will be led by Sec 2s (Elain, Shafeena and Su Jet) as part of their water ambassador project.

Training: Zhan Feng, Arif, Hamzah
Logistics: Edeline, Yong Qi
YA: Guan Ying, Ziawei, Jordan
Admin: Syafiqah
The objective is to provide upcoming NCOs a platform to learn and try new things. This can help them discover their interests. Hence, it is not meant for appraisal. The second round of Be a NCO day is on week 10.
