Usage of Document Folder and Facebook Comment Box


Hi everyone,
The files in the document folders will all be locked from now on. Please get the password from your NCOs.

Below this post, you can see there is a Facebook comment box. You can actually communicate using that comment box. However, when you comment, please tag your NCOs in the comment by typing “@” followed by your NCO’s Facebook name. This will allow the NCOs to be aware of your post.

I will post an example below. You will actually receive Facebook notification if the NCO replied your message. Please do not abuse it as I will be able to track you down even if you are using anonymous account.

SANA Course 16 Mar 7.45am

To all Sec 1s going for the SANA Course,

Please wait at the school porch area for the bus tomorrow at 7.45am. Please do not be late. Attire is school uniform. 

It is a one way bus trip. Dismissal will be in Sengkang Community Centre around 5pm. 

Zone FA Competition Saturday 17 Mar

Dear competitors, stewards, helpers and supporters going by bus for the FA Comp this Sat,

Please be in school punctually at 6.40am. The school gate will only be opened around 6.20am. If you are early, please wait in the bus stop. Please do not wait outside the gate as cars like to u-turn at that area. So its a bit dangerous. Please also do not climb over the gate or crawl under the gate if you are early, for safety reasons. There will be 2 buses going to Ngee Ann Poly this Sat.

The school bus is a one way trip.

Once you reach Ngee Ann Poly, the details are:

 Venue: Blk 81, School of Health Sciences, Ngee Ann Polytechnic Levels 1 - 3 (Competition)
       Blk 81, School of Health Sciences, Ngee Ann Polytechnic Level 5 (Simulation Labs)
       Blk 68, Convention Centre, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Lecture Theatre 68E, Basement Level (Prize Presentation)

 Reporting Time in Ngee Ann Poly: 8am (Stewards and Helpers)
                                                         8.15am (Competitors)

 Reporting Venue: Outside Lecture Theatres Area at Level 3. (The school premises starts from level 3)

 Reporting attire: Full Uniform without badges, ranks and name tags for competitors
                  Stewards and Helpers will bring their respective attire

Mini Competition Marking Rubric For Short / Intermediate Case


I know you guys are anxious to know about your competition result. The NCOs are still tabulating your marks. We will show you your result on Thursday. For the time being, please refer to the document folder for your short case / intermediate case marking rubric. Please download the file to read it. SMS me for the password. I cannot upload the CPR and AED marking rubric now as there are a few errors found in the document. Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

KOTO Test Sec 2 Monday 5 March 2.45pm

To all Sec 2s,

Please remember to turn up for the KOTO test tomorrow (Monday) at 2.45pm in And.Search Computer Lab (level 4). The test will start at 3pm but you need to be there earlier to log in to the system.

The test will be all MCQ and duration of paper is 1 hour. Please study the parts of the notes that are underlined. You need 50% to pass and it is a compulsory badge for Chief Comm badge. So must pass. 

The login id will be your IC and the password is your date of birth ie if you are born 30 Jan 98, then it is 300198. 

If you have forgotten your school SSOE login password, please approach the TA for help before the test. So that we can start and end on time at 4.10pm.

  for those who are supposed to pass up your consent forms but have not done so, please submit the forms to me on Monday, before assembly, in class 4/1. If you are not sure whether you have submitted, the names below are the ones who have not submitted yet so these people please take note:

Preparations for competition briefing

For all com team members, stewards and helpers,

The com briefing is this coming Friday. As the sec 2 won't be able to make it, I want the no. 1s of each team, stewards, helpers and those representing the sec 2 AC and NC team to come outside SJAB room at 1.50pm on Monday. Please bring the following:

# $35 from each team in an envelope
# The photocopies of the various cards
# Adequate Ziplog bags of standardized sizes

Sec 2 team members please pass the necessary items to your team representatives.

Note: Stewards and helpers, bring what is necessary for the com briefing

Please be informed that there is an error in the previous consent form issued, i believe Mr Yong has issued a new consent form to everyone involved. This post is just to remind everyone that the venue for the competition briefing on Friday 9 March is NOT held at Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
It is held at the St John's Headquarters located at Beach Road. Please do not go to Ngee Ann polytechnic on 9th March.
Details are as follows:

Venue: Lecture Theatre 1 (for stewards and helpers; secondary 1s)
