Dear sec 2 cadets,

Please be reminded that there will be NDP training on this Saturday. Details are as follow,

Time: 1030 - 1830

Reporting venue: HQ

Things to bring: Full brigade uniform with rank without CPBS badges
                 Water bottle
                 A pair of glove

Transport will be provided from HQ to Nee Soon camp and from Nee Soon Camp back to HQ. Lunch will also be provided.

Anderson Clover Guides' Bi-annual Campfire 2013

Dear cadets,

We have been cordially invited to attend the Anderson Clover Guides' Bi-annual Campfire 2013. Due to space constraints we are only allowed to send a certain number of people, therefore I would like all Sec 1 cadets to represent ASJAB for this fun and joyous event. 

The details are as follows:

Time: 1730 hrs

Venue: School Hall (**Meet outside ASJAB room first)

Attire: Casual wear

As fellow Anderson UGs it is important to support each other so I strongly encourage all of you to go. However, if anyone is unable to attend please inform me by tomorrow night (31 May 2013, 7pm).

Wednesday GM (29/5/13)

Here are the details for Wednesday GM (29/5/13):

Reporting time: 3.30pm
Attire: PT kit
Items to bring: Apron (for sec twos), writing materials (for sec ones).
Please bring these items down at the start of the GM.

For sec twos who failed KOTO, please sit for the re-test at ANDart at 2.45pm before CCA starts. After the re-test, please have your lunch and report outside SJAB room at 4.00pm SHARP with your aprons. Sec twos who passed KOTO are not affected, you will report to CCA as per normal at 3.30pm.

Collection of Forms

National Day Rehearsal Selected Sec 2s 18 May

Time: 10.30am to 6pm (slight change from time in consent form)
Reporting Venue: SJAB HQ at Beach Road

SJAB Events in May and June

Dear cadets,

You should have received the list of events and consent forms from your teachers last week. Just to highlight a few key upcoming events:

KOTO Test Sec 2s 29 May

Sec 2 and 3 cadets who did not pass the KOTO test in March will sit for the re-test in And.Art (not And.Search) on Week 10 Wednesday 29 May at 2.45pm. Please go to the computer lab immediately after school. The test will finish by 3.30pm. You can then have your lunch and report for CCA (Cookery Course at 4pm). This arrangement does not affect cadets who have passed the KOTO test. They will report for CCA at the normal GM time stipulated.

Sec 2 Cookery Course 29 May

All Sec 2s will have their cookery course on Week 10 Wednesday 29 May at 4pm. Please bring apron on that day and $2. Mrs Kumar will prepare the ingredients. You will learn how to make a tasty chicken burger.

Civil Defence CPBS Course 4 June

All Sec 1s and Sec 2s please report for Civil Defence Course on 1st week June holidays Tuesday 7.45am in SJAB T shirt and track pants. Mr Hazmi will accompany you by school bus to Bukit Batok Fire Station. A 2 way bus trip is provided. You will reach school approximately at 5pm.

Heritage Trail CPBS Course 10 June

There is a typo in the consent form. The heritage trail will be 10 June 9am, not 3 June in the consent form. The Pet Care SPCA visit will be postponed to term 3 afternoon. This is because they cannot accommodate more than 25 students each round and they need to feed the animals in the morning.

SJAB June Camp 11 to 12 June

The June Camp will be held in school. Please submit your consent forms before the camp. The packing list will come later.
