NCOC
HI ALL. This is to all those in NCOC.
As announced by today's DO, I will be the Corp I/C for the ncoc course on 2nd June.
So please dont make things difficult for me alright.
Make sure all your uniforms are up to standard! I expect boots to be polished, hair to be neatly clipped up for girls and socks to be above ankle and also specs hook to be worn. Make sure your beret is seasoned. And if there is any white white unknown substances or things, please remove them with scorch tape or any other methods.
The parade will start at 0830. I have told the other schools to fall in by 0820. As expected of you all, you are to reach early by 0800. Today, a few of you were unreachable through handphone when your fellow batch members tried to contact. I expect you all to keep contact with those who have arrived earlier or so, so as to update the NCOs on whether you will be late or not. On saturday, please arrive before 0800 latest 0815, the NCOs will do an brief attire check before the parade.
Reminder: Please remember your 1.5l IceMountain Bottle filled to the brim. Air bubble is to be no more than 20cent coin.
As said today in safety regualtions, do remember to have at least 7h of sleep the day before and have sufficient amount of water, 2h before you sleep, drink up as much as possible.
The DO hotline will be realeased soon, so do keep a look out at the sjab zone 3 website.

You are expected to either report to Mayflower early to change into your uniform or have your parents send you by car. No one is allowed to wear the full uniform while on a public transport.
Remember to bring your PT kit for tomorrow's NCOC course.
If you owe me excuse letters, pass them to me. Please inform Hakeem that he is required to pass to me excuse letters for not attending the first 2 GMs after the examinations ended. Also remember to get all your forms signed, namely the June Camp form and pass them to me. Piece of advice, bring a small notebook in case you are appointed the I/C (you will be asked to note down the attendance of everyone)

Flag: Buy the white coloured kind. Dimensions are 1m (width) x 1.5m (length)
Flag Pole: 1.2m in length. Standardize the type of pole and how the flag will be attached to the pole.
2) Each group should prepare 2 long cheers (min. 8 lines), and 3 short cheers (min. 5 lines).
3) For performance:
Phi & Epsilon - Skit & Dance
Beta - Dance
Gamma - Skit
Alpha & Zeta ICs, please confirm whether you want dance or skit for your campfire performance.
Each performance should be around 4-5 minutes (Combined performance is 8- 10 minutes)
After each performance, each group have to shout out their own cheers (Preferably the one that has not been used)
The 2 groups which have combined (Phi & Epsilon) are to have a cheer (min. 8 lines) with both their group names.
Ensure that there are no explicit content in your performance (no vulgarities in songs/skit/dance) and must be content must be appropriate.

NCOC Meeting Sec 2 cadets And.Create 10 May Thursday 9.35am
Dear Sec 2 cadets,
Please meet me in the And.create computer lab for a max half hour briefing on NCOC and upcoming events after your paper tomorrow. Reason is because there are many last minute changes to NCOC last week. I did not keep you informed till today as I don't want to distract you from SA1. One of the change is in the date. The new dates for NCOC are:
27 May (Sunday): Briefing and Theory Lesson I
2 June (Saturday): Theory Lesson II
3 June (Sunday): Theory Lesson III and Practical Test
5 June (Tuesday): NCOC Theory Exam
8th June (Friday) to 10 June (Sunday): NCOC Camp
The changes will affect the date of the school camp as well. As such, I need to meet you to pass you the forms and guide you to filling up the online application form on the spot.
Thus, I apologize for the last minute need to see you. Unfortunately, it is urgent cause the deadline to register is next Monday. Thus. please go to the Mac lab immediately after you finish your paper for maximum half hour.

Confirmation of Heartsaver and CPR/AED Course Sat 12 May
Dear selected Sec 2 and Sec 3 cadets,
We receive confirmation today that our heartsaver and CPR/AED course is successful. It is a last minute confirmation. Due to quota limits per school, we can only send some of you for the course. The selection for the heartsaver is based on sending the 1st, 3rd and 5th participant of comp and some of the stewards. The remaining students not in the list will be sent to the CPR AED course next year. For the AED course, the sec 3s selected are cadets who have not gone to the heartsaver course last year, If you pass the course, you will be awarded the heartsaver badge, a good badge to add to your chances of getting the Chief Commissioner badge. The course cost $10 per student and will fully paid by the school. Please make sure you pass. Attendance is compulsory, as absence may result in the school being banned for a year for these courses. If you cannot make it, can you inform me and find a replacement.
