Dear Sec 2 cadets,
The time of the year has come again where you need to take the KOTO test. You need to pass the test to qualify for the Commissioner and Chief Commissioner Badge. You should have received the notes from your seniors. Please study the portions that are underlined. They are usually the questions. You need to 50% to pass. If you have lost the notes, you can either approach me or go to the CPBS SJAB website found under the links column of the blog.
This year, we are very prvileged to be one of the 10 schools selected by HQ to be involved in the KOTO online trial test. This means that you do not have to travel to HQ on Saturday to do the test. You will do the test in school on the following 2 dates:
Trial Test: 5 March Monday 3pm in a Anderson computer lab to be confirmed later.
Live Test: 28 March Wednesday 3.45pm in a Anderson computer lab to be confirmed later.
Question: What is the difference between the trial questions and ‘live’ questions?
The trial questions are loaded for teachers and students to have the feel of the system. After the test, we will conduct a feedback session for teachers to provide us with the necessary feedback. After the vendors refine the system, we will then invite your students who have not passed the test and awarded the KSJ/408 badge to sit for the ‘live’ test. If they passed the test, they will be awarded the badge. If there are technical glitches during the test, we will schedule a retest for the candidates after further refinements to the system is made.
This means you just need to pass one of the test to qualify for the KOTO badge. Please try to pass the first one. Please keep this 2 dates free and study for the KOTO test immediately after your CA1. The format should be MCQ if I am not wrong. You also need to update your computer password to work on the actual day.
Thank you.
Mr Yong
